At the age of 16 and 18 respectively vocalist Gaz Coombes & drummer Danny Goffey formed The Jennifers alongside bassist Andy Davies and drummer Nic Goffey. Signed out of Oxford after Nude first watched them in rehearsal & then a gig at the Subterania club in Notting Hill.

The band became Nude’s second signing, released only one single the classic 4 track EP Just Got Back Today back in 1992, which is now a highly sought after rarity with Pirelli sleeve.

Gaz and Danny of course went on to form the utterly  magnificent Supergrass. Danny’s brother Nic went onto direct all the band’s videos.
